Special futures:

Special tape-dubbing, Tone is defeatable. Subsonic filter. Torodial mains transformer.
This amp is one of the better Luxman amps and has lots of power to supply your speakers.
On a updated L5, I measured 2x75 Watts RMS.

Sound:

The L5 is powerfull and the sound is great.

Modifications:

Some L5 suffer bad variable resistors for setting DC offset and idling current.
Some caps can be not the best quality and can be replaced.
DC decoupling on the power amp board can possibly be improved.
