The first transistor radio of La Voix De Son Maitre from 1957. This is a big wooden radio. It employs 6 transistors: 3x CK722 and 3 Philips glass transistors. The radio has a steel chassis and no pcb. The transistors are mounted on a sort of socket but stayed long tailed. The IF transformers are in huge tins. It has LW/MW.
model Transistors 6
Remarkable radio from 1958 that employs 6 very early French transistors. One of the transistors is mounted in the coil tin of the 2nd IF transformer. It has LW/MW. As you can see it has the HMV logo on the front.
Nice 9 transistor radio from approx 1961. This radio is very well built electronicly, but the case plastics are rather breakable. It is MW/LW and has French Cescosem transistors.
