Luxman LV-90 / LV-100 amplifier

 

General: 

This amplifier was produced in the 1980’s, LV-90 is 2x35 W and LV-100 2x45 W.

This amplifier incorporates 3 IC's, 2 STK modules made by Sanyo Japan and 1 pre-amp traditional IC.

Schematic:

 The schematic diagram is quite simple as there are 4 IC's in it. The STK2230 (STK2240 LV-100), STK3042III,
NM4558 and the NJM2043D.

Modifications:

The power supply is very simple and can be improved.

Sound:

These series of audio components have only average sound quality, as all STK module equipped amps have.
Many manufacturers of audio equipment have used STK or alike IC modules in their audio gear, well known are:
Kenwood, Sansui, Akai, Marantz, Nad, Panasonic, Technics, JVC, Pioneer, Rotel, Denon, Quad, Sony, Yamaha, Bose, Philips and more.
This is not the same quality standard as other Luxman gear. It is from the era when the Luxman company was owned by Alpine.
