Here a cheap Admiral 5 transistor radio made in Hong Kong, it has 6 Silicon transistors (Motorola and Texas Instruments make, 1 is used as diode) and 1 Germanium diode, AM only, it is made in the 1970s. This radio was sold on the good name Admiral had from the past, but in no way this radio is comparable with the earlier models Admiral produced (see radios above). Still this is a nice radio and it plays well considering the cost of only a few bucks.

Here a cheap Admiral 6 transistor radio made in Hong Kong, it has 6 Silicon transistors (Motorola and Texas Instruments make, 1 is used as diode) and 1 Germanium diode, AM only, it is made in the second part of the 1960s, chassis #6R4. This radio was also sold on the good name Admiral had from the past, but also in no way this radio is comparable with the earlier models Admiral produced (see radios above), although this radio is better constucted as the PR277. Again this is a nice radio that plays well considering the cost of only a few bucks.
